Not so long ago, Denon's E-series became a part of the Denon's diverse line-up of A/V receivers. Quickly following-up, Denon decided to add to the ease-of-use of E-Series receivers, while further enhancing their installation flexibility and upgrading their performance capabilities. Back in April, Denon announced that the new Denon X Series of IN-Command A/V receivers would be available in May. Denon revealed that the upcoming X series of home theatre receivers will consist of four new models, namely the AVR-X1000, AVR-X2000, AVR-X3000, and the AVR-X4000.

As far as the price-point is concerned, the price of all four models in the upcoming X Series ranges from £349 to £835. This is one of the reasons that Denon's announcement about this new series of A/V receivers caused such hype among home theatre aficionados. The best thing about the X Series is that even the AVR-X1000, which is the lowest-priced model out of the four, is also equipped with the highly effective Audyssey MultEQ XT room correction system.

The AVR-X1000 from the Denon X Series is a 5.1 channel A/V receiver model. Each channel of this model has a power rating of 80 watts. This A/V receiver model is equipped with six HDMI inputs, with 3D and 1080p video pass-through, Airplay, internet radio, and multimedia streaming capabilities. The design of the AVR-X1000 is as compact as the rest of the model in this series. This is why setting it up and making speaker connections is easier with this receiver. Denon's excellent latest onscreen setup wizard is featured by this model to help you with the setup process. For convenient mobile control, it is also fully compatible with the Remote App from Denon. The AVR-X1000 model will be available for about £349.

The AVR-X2000 model is a 7.1 channel A/V receiver that provides you with an extra two channels of amplification, which can also be as a powered second zone. Each channel has a power rating of 95 watts, and along with up-scaling capabilities, 4K "Ultra HD" pass-through is also added to this model. The AVR-X2000 model will be available for £499.

The AVR-X3000 model Denon X Series is also 7.1 channel A/V receiver, but with more advanced features. For the front, height or width effects channels, this model has DTS Neo:X and Audyssey DSX processing, and also has digital multi-zone capabilities that are independently driven. According to Denon, the AVR-X3000 is a two channel driven A/V receiver with each channel having a power rating of 105 watts. The AVR-X3000 model will be available for £799.

The AVR-X4000 is the final and most superior A/V receiver model in this series. It is a 7.2 channel A/V receiver with each channel having a power rating of 125 watts. A stereo amp can also be added to the setup since this receiver has .2-channel processing capabilities. Most importantly, bass correction can be achieved for two independent subwoofers in the system because of the added MultEQ XT32 room correction and Audyssey Sub EQ HT dual subwoofer EQ. Additionally, along with seven HDMI inputs, three HDMI outputs are also featured in this model. The AVR-X4000 model will be available for £1,199.

Along with their individual features, all four A/V receiver models in the Denon X Series are equipped IP control capabilities and full Control4 certification. The diverse range of specifications of these four home theatre receiver models is what makes the new upcoming X Series from Denon so intriguing.
