Dial up internet connection is becoming more and more rare due to the introduction of the broadband and wireless internet connections, however it is still commonly used by more people than you would expect.
Dial up internet connection is a connection which is used by connecting your telephone line to an outside ISP, also known as an Internet Service Provider which ultimately connects you to the internet. It is a great option for low budgets however speeds can be very unreliable and slow. If you find that you do not need a 100% connection all of the time, then a wireless connection is something you should take a look at and consider.
