There has been huge competition from the other tablets since Apple’s iPad has been launched. This is the reason why this is accountable for 89.28 percent of e-commerce website traffic. This tablet also collects more dollars on pre-user basis than the other ones. The figures have come from Monetate's most recent Ecommerce Quarterly report that has been issued on Wednesday and it provided to the AppleInsider. The necessary data that has been collected from the first quarter of 2013 demonstrates that Apple iPad will be held responsible for almost 9 amongst every 10 tablets that surf websites on e-commerce.

Apple's leading share is down by some extent since one year and it controlled 91.68 percent of e-commerce traffic. The tablets that gained presence in the market were Android tablets. These tablets grew from 4.75 percent since last year to 8.20 percent in the first quarter of the present year.

Surprisingly, Amazon's Kindle Fire has lost its traffic share amongst the shopping websites in the last year. As such, Kindle Fire has fallen down from 3.58 to 2.51 percent. Apple iPad is believed to be the head when the issue is how much amount the tablet users are actually spending. The amount of money that the tablet users spend is $99.05 on an average. Android tablets came in the second position with $95.48 on a per-order basis whereas Kindle Fire came in the third position with $83.58.

It has been revealed that the iPad owners do not only like to shop on the Internet, however they also like to spend money on every person basis, than challenging the stages. The figures have been derived from examples above 500 million shopping experiences online. This has been followed by Monetate, of whose Frontier Airlines, Best Buy, Aeropostale, The Sports Authority and PETCO are the potential clients.

The usage of the tablets is also rising for online shopping. This has increased from 5.95 percent of e-commerce traffic during the first quarter of 2012 to 10.58 percent at the beginning of 2013. The tablets are a bit more popular than the smart phones in case of online shopping. This is because the handsets are related for 10.44 percent of e-commerce traffic. However, the customary computers are still accountable for 78.99 percent in the first quarter of 2013. As per Monetate, the owners of Mac spend more for every order amongst the customary computers. The purchase value may be $106.35 on an average. Windows personal computer users will spend $97.77 for each order on an average.

Lastly, amongst the shoppers for smart phone, Google's Android platform seems to be the most profitable one. This is on a per-purchase basis, resulting $107.14 for every purchase on an average. This is a little more than Apple's iPhone, with $107.03 on an average for every e-commerce order that is being placed.

Just like Mac against Monetate's data did not clear up traffic from iPhone and Android smart phones, it is not known as to which platform will be seeing more number of e-commerce purchasers on the whole. Although Google's Android accounts for 75 percent of smart phones that are shipped as of now, Apple's iOS still is the leader for browser sharing use. This also advises that the owners of Android and iPhone use their devices in much more unusual styles.
