Online Backup Companies That Feature Unlimited Storage

Online backup is a service that allows you to put your files onto another person’s server. You may wish to do this if you do not have enough local memory to store all of your files. You may also have a lot of content online and wish to back it up in case your server crashes or is hacked/infected. This article features a number of online services. They all offer an unlimited data backup function. Each online service offers unlimited backup storage for different prices and under different plans, (plans are the service contracts that you must pay for).

These services offer an online storage service that you may use via a desktop program or an app. This means that you may backup your files directly. There are online services such as Google Drive and DropBox, but these must be accessed through a web browser and do not synchronize automatically. That means that with Google Drive and DropBox, you have to re-upload a file every time that you modify it.

SugarSync
This service is an online storage tool. It will synchronize your files between numerous devices such as your desktop computer and Smartphone. They give you 5GB free and then charge you in a staggered plan of 60GB, 100GB and 250GB. They charge you monthly or you can get a yearly plan for a lower per monthly cost. They also have a Terabyte (TB) plan that may be used by up to three users. They also have an unlimited storage plan, but you have to contact them for a quote.

LiveDrive
This service offers a storage service that you can buy under a number of service plans. Their backup plan offers unlimited storage but you have to use one computer. There is a small charge if you would like to add extra computers.

There are also other plans that offer 2TB or 5TB for a monthly charge. These plans come with extras such as multi-computer backup, sharing and file editing tools. They also offer a large discount if you pre-pay your account for one or two years.

Carbonite
This online service offers a backup service that is similar to the LiveDrive backup service. Carbonite also has an unlimited backup storage plan, which can be built upon with other more expensive plans that enable you to use extra services that go beyond the base service.

BackBlaze
This is a very popular online storage service because it does not impose file size limits. This means that if you have a virtual machine that uses a massive amount of data, you can back it all up with BackBlaze. For a (relatively) small monthly fee, you can store an unlimited amount of data. The cost is even cheaper if your pay for a two year plan in advance.

CrashPlan+
This online storage service is popular because of its higher security rating. It has a 448-bit encryption level, which is pretty big when compared to most online services. Their cheapest plan offers 10GB of storage space. They have an unlimited storage plan for just one computer, and another unlimited storage plan that may be used by numerous computers (between two and ten). Like most of the online services mentioned in this article, Crashplan+ offer a bigger discount for people who are willing to prepay for their storage plan.

McAfee Online Backup
This is an online storage service that is run by the people who make the McAfee anti-virus. Obviously, their brand name lends itself nicely to an online storage service that is secure. They offer an unlimited storage backup plan that you must pay for yearly.

AVG LiveKive
AVG is another online security software provider, and again, its name lends itself nicely to a secure online storage service. Just like McAfee, they offer unlimited storage for a yearly fee. However, they do have a fair use policy, which states that additional charges will be imposed if you use over 500GB. Their yearly plan will also allow you to use the service on an unlimited number of devices.

Their service plan will renew automatically every year. Unlike many of the other online storage services, they do not offer a discount if you prepay for a few years of service in advance. The service uses software that may be installed on Windows, Mac, the Apple iOS and the Google Android OS.

MyPCBackup
This is an online backup service that has an unlimited storage space plan that you must pay for every month. The interface is user friendly and they offer reasonably cheap service plans. If you purchase a two-year plan then you may receive a discount. You may purchase a 75GB plan or a 250GB plan if you do not feel that you will need an unlimited plan. The company that offers this service also offers a service under the names JustCloud, Backup Genie and ZipCloud. All of these services are very similar to the MyPCBackup service.

Nomadesk
This online storage service will allow you to back up your files on numerous computers whilst operating under the same user-service plan. They offer unlimited storage for a monthly fee, which they will lower if you pay a year in advance. They also have apps so that you can use this service on your Android, Windows phone, iPad, BlackBerry and iPhone.

Adrive
This is an online storage tool that sells itself with a number of online file editing tools. It has a lot of service plans with which you may add and remove tools. Their service plans go from 50GB to 10TB. If you need more space than that then they ask that you contact them for a quote on an unlimited storage plan. They offer discounts if you prepay in advance, and you can prepay for up to three years.

BackUp Solutions
This online storage tool is only available to home users and small businesses. Their plan is an unlimited storage plan, which they offer to small businesses and home users with the understanding that they would struggle to upload many TB per year. It works with an unlimited storage plan, but works under the subtle belief that you are not going to be able to fill their server if you are simply working from home or running a small business.
